- Click Tools menu, Internet Options...
- On the tab titled General, click Delete Cookies...
- Confirm OK
- It should take a few moments to erase all the .txt cookie files from your hard drive.
- Click Tools menu, Internet Options...
- On the tab titled Privacy, click Advanced ...
- Check mark the Override Automatic Cookie Handling checkbox
- Check both of the Block option buttons
- Confirm OK, and OK to complete.
- From this point on, no more cookies will be allowed to track your browsing information in IE6.
- Click Tools menu, Options...
- On the tab titled Cookies, click View Cookies...
- Click Remove Cookies or Remove All Cookies
- Confirm OK
- It should take a few moments to erase all the .txt cookie files from your hard drive.
- Click Tools menu, Options...
- On the tab titled Cookies, click View Cookies...
- Disable the checkbox Allow sites to set Cookies
- Confirm OK
- From this point on, no more cookies will be allowed to track your browsing information in Firefox.
