Internet gaming, both console and PC, is quickly spreading as a worldwide hobby. The gaming world is not just for teenagers any more: the average age of people playing MMO and FPS games is now around 30 years old, and the age group is climbing. People have become more open to spending time on massive multiplayer online games, and family-friendly Internet games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band.

If you begin to participate more in the world of Internet gaming, you will be want to learn some of the more common gaming terms. You will chat more confidently with your new gaming friends, and the gaming experience will likely become more engaging for you.
