There are legitimate situations where an Internet user will need to surf anonymously.  Perhaps the person lives in an oppressive country, where the government attempts to control what they read online.  Or perhaps the person works in law enforcement, and needs to be able to stealthily read web pages published by dissenting activist groups.  Maybe the person is afraid of being targeted by extremists, who may choose to harm because of political opinions.  For these reasons and more, there are ways to keep your web surfing habits private...
