If you try the "deal with every message the moment it arrives" approach, you know that this is an unrealistic goal. Unless you are in a paid job dedicated to answering emails as fast as possible, you will never have the time to reply to every message the same day.  But if you just shift your mindset a bit, it is possible to reduce your inbox size dramatically, and still complete all your messaging within a reasonable time.  Heinz Tsabitscher explains...
