Will Google, Apple, or Facebook Rule the New Internet?

Josh Quittner of Time Magazine raises some interesting questions about Internet platforms. As some of you know, a "platform" is the software base that third-party applications run on. IBM's platform ruled for years, then it was supplanted by Microsoft. Now, Microsoft is being supplanted by the Internet, which is owned by no one. There are three big platform players, however, and the battle for who decides what will be very interesting. This is even more interesting than Blu-Ray vs. HDDVD, actually, because it will affect our daily lives online. Read Josh's interesting article here...
