"Is WoW Really the Greatest Internet Game in History?"

Thursday February 28, 2008
Yes, in many ways, World of Warcraft is the greatest internet game in history. By sheer size alone, 10 million users around the planet make WoW the most-participated group game on the internet. And more than just community size, the user retention of WoW is boggling... people continue to play WoW for years, decreasing the number of other games they buy as a result.  If you want to see why this game is so good, why not try it for yourself for ten days? I have some guest accounts available to give away. Send me an email if you're interested in trying World of Warcraft...

If I didn’t know better, Paul, I’d say you were addicted. :-) How do you find the time to write posts about WOW or do you have a second computer that’s on so that you can play?

Personally, I prefer Oblivion for my not-so-secret computer game vice, but then again, I’m afraid of the time-suck that WOW appears to be. Oblivion is bad enough. :-)

World of Warcraft is for losers with nothing better to do, but wither away in front of a computer screen.
