Sony and Warner Bros. Successfully Sue a Downloader for $222,000 in Minnesota.

In a devastating blow against the P2P downloaders of the world, a young lady in Minnesota has been successfully sued for sharing music. This October, a US Federal court judge ruled that she pay over $200 thousand in fines for sharing 24 songs online. She will also have to pay the legal fees for both sides of the case, making her liable for a half million dollars!
